| Due to the budget crisis at Southern
Oregon University, we have recently received news that the One World
Concert Series has been terminated. Ironically, and thanks to your support,
it was one of our strongest years ever.
Your support of the program contributed
to the strength of the concert series, and thus the vitality of our
community. Your commitment afforded us the opportunity to explore and
share world music traditions while celebrating the artists from our
own country's traditions. This panorama of artists created a dynamic
series.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to you
and to the fine organizations that partnered with us in our endeavor
to bring the best music possible to this region. We thank the Ashland
Food Co-op for their incredibly generous and sustained support as the
sole season sponsor of One World. Also, we thank the students of SOU - especially the students on staff that dedicated their time and energy
- and Jefferson Public Radio for their support of the program.
Sharing my love of live music has been
an enriching, invaluable opportunity and one I will cherish.

Welcome to the One World Concert Series! Celebrating its 14th season, One World continues its tradition of presenting high quality international talent in Southern Oregon. The season includes musicians drawing from the various traditions inherent in North America, as well as some sharing traditions from distant lands.
One World Concert Series celebrates the richness of diversity through music. We hope to bridge cultural gaps through a spirit of celebration. As a cross-cultural language, music can open hearts and minds -giving voice to those without one, offering diverse perspectives and sharing mythic traditions. One World strives to foster global awareness and respect, and to promote world peace through world music.
Season Tickets for Southern Oregon University and Jefferson Public Radio's One World Concert Series are available! This year's season includes concerts with PLANET DRUM, STEVE EARLE, NATALIE MACMASTER, LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO, TAJ MAHAL TRIO and LEO KOTTKE. A Complete Season Ticket Package includes all six concerts with a 20 percent discount. A Selective Season Ticket Package includes four or five concerts with a 10 percent discount. Both season ticket packages include the best seats where applicable. Single Tickets for individual concerts are available August 24th.
